Sure Shot Sweet & Sour Fish
Who says you need to eat out for a Sweet & Sour fix?
For best results, cook with: "Sweet & Sour Girl"♫

  • 400 g fish fillet (cut-up or whole)
  • 1 pc egg (beaten)
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 pc small onion (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp sliced ginger
  • 1 tbsp sliced carrot
  • ½ pc small red or green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 pouch (57g) Del Monte Quick n Easy
    Sweet & Sour Mix
    (dissolved in ½ cup water)

Dissolve Del Monte Quick n Easy Sweet & Sour Mix into 1/2 cup of water.
Step 1
Mix the egg and flour next, then set aside.
Step 2
Season fish with ¼ tsp fine salt then add to batter.
Step 3
Fry the fish until golden brown, then set aside.
Step 4
Saute onion, ginger, carrots and bell pepper in oil for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Pour dissolved Del Monte Quick n Easy Sweet & Sour Mix. Allow to boil.
Step 6
Simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 7
Lastly, add in the fish for a quick finish (10-20 seconds) before pouring into the plate.
